The Vantage 2 defies trends by bringing cutting edge design and integration to an incredibly accessible price point. Lightweight double butted 6061 alloy frame with hidden internal cable routing, full carbon fork, disc brakes and high volume tyres combine to create a seriously capable road bike that leads the way of adventure road cycling for the price-savvy enthusiast.
The 6061 hydroformed alloy frame has double butted tube profiles which reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining strength at the welds and the internal cable routing continues the sleek aesthetic. The geometry has been updated to offer more endurance comfort for long days in the saddle while still feeling poised and eager to be ridden fast. Additionally, the custom ovalised seatstays are flattened to offer more vertical compliance, steering you away from fatigue and keeping you and your legs feeling fresh.
Shimano CUES introduces wide gear ratios and improved durability to road cycling, meaning less time and money spent on maintenance and more focus on getting out on the road and beyond. It is equipped with a compact 50/34t chainset and super wide range 11-39t cassette while dual piston Tektro C550 mechanical disc brakes give increased stopping power in all weather.
Optimum tyre width remains a hot topic amongst the road cycling crowd and the Vantage range leads the way with a pair of high volume Kenda road tyres. 700x38c provides unmatched comfort on the road, tackling rough surfaces and potholes at more comfortable, lower tyre pressures without the risk of pinch flats.
