Meet the KADe Mini, your ultimate companion for a bike-led lifestyle. This 20" Longtail cargo eBike is the result of a 12-month long project that set out to take the success of our 24" KADe cargo bike and do one thing - make it even better than before. The new platform has been engineered for more versitility and practicality, with smaller wheels creating a shorter overall length while enabiling us to increase the load capacity and improve ride feel. It was absolutely key when designing the KADe Mini that it was accessible to even more riders who want to leave the car behind and take to riding a bike for everything from the daily school run, grocery shopping and everything in between. The position is upright for comfort and visibility and the lowstep frame makes getting on and off the bike hassle free. The steering is light, even when loaded, for confidence through busy areas and the cargo area accomodates up to 2 people plus the rider.
Assisting your ride is a powerful 250W Jiabo rear hub motor with 55Nm of torque, seamlessly integrated with a sophisticated Jiabo torque sensor. This advanced sensor delivers natural and intuitive assistance, matching your pedaling effort for a smooth, powerful boost exactly when needed. The long-lasting 36V 13.4ah 482WH battery ensures you have the range to tackle longer distances and heavier loads with confidence.
When it comes to gears and brakes, we've ensured quality and durability with a Shimano SLM315 8-speed shifter paired with a Shimano RD-M310 rear derailleur and a Shimano 11-34T freewheel, offering a wide range of gears for any incline. Stopping power is courtesy of Tektro's highly popular HD M275 hydraulic disc brakes at both front and rear, ensuring reliable and consistent control in all conditions. The wide 20x3.0" tyres wrap around durable 20" 36H 40mm alloy rims to provide enhanced stability, comfort, and grip, even when fully laden.
Every detail has been crafted for comfort and convenience. The upright riding position, supporte by a 660mm wide handlebars with a 50mm rise and 30-degree sweep and a 60mm 60-degree rise stem, reduces strain on longer rides. A comfortable Selle Royal saddle and ergo lock-on grips ensure maximum comfort, even on longer rides.
