The Reid eMetro eBike combines a compact folding design with electric assistance and practical features for everyday urban riding. Its alloy frame and sturdy steel fork provide a durable foundation, while the folding design makes storage more convenient when space is limited.
Powered by a 250W Ananda rear hub motor and a 14.7Ah, 530Wh frame-mounted battery, the eMetro provides electric assistance for everyday journeys at speeds of up to 15.5mph. The Ananda D19 handlebar-mounted display features Bluetooth connectivity and app compatibility, keeping ride information accessible while you ride.
The 7-speed L-TWOO trigger shifter works with a Shimano TY200 rear derailleur and Shimano 14–28T freewheel to provide versatile gearing for city streets and cycle paths. Tektro HD-M275 hydraulic disc brakes deliver controlled stopping power, while 20 x 2.125-inch tyres mounted on double-wall rims provide grip and stability.

Q. How far can I travel on a full charge?
The range you can expect depends on how hard the battery is working. This will be affected by factors like the weight of the rider, how much luggage you’re carrying, tyre pressure, hills/terrain, road condition, wind and the level of assistance or power setting you use. We will list the distance you can expect to ride under ideal conditions in the product details section of each Electric Bike. As a general guide though, the range varies from around 60km per full charge for our 10.4Ah battery hub motor eBikes, up to 100-120km+ for our 14Ah Ananda mid-mount eBikes. The dual-battery system on the KADe can even cover 150km+.
Q. How do I charge an Electric Bike and how long will it take?
Simply plug the charger into a standard wall socket at work or when you get home. To charge the battery from 0% to 80% will take 2 hours, 100% in 4 hours. Most of the time though you’ll just need to top up rather than completely refill. Charging times are similar for Bafang and Ananda systems.
Q. Can I ride an eBike in the rain?
Yes, all of these units are sealed and made for all-conditions riding.
Q. How can I safely handle and use a Li-ion Electric Bike battery?
Lithium Ion batteries are a powerful technology that have given us handy cordless tools and devices from mobile phones and laptops, to power drills, vacuum cleaners and now electric bikes.

Q. Is there a speed limit on ebikes?
Depending on the region of purchase, the speed limits on our E-Bikes are 25km/h or 32km/h.
