The Reid Tanami 2 builds on the foundation of our original Tanami - an eGravel bike with an appetite for adventure. This addition to our gravel range comes with a host of upgraded components to help you combat the most demanding of gravel adventures - all while packing an extra punch up those gruelling hills thanks to our Ananda e-system.
The chassis of the Tanami 2 is a 6061 alloy frame and fork which features an integrated battery and internal cable routing for a clean and uncluttered aesthetic. To add to this, a sleek top tube integrated display and function button with battery indicator and power control lets you power up the bike without the distraction or clutter of a handlebar display. To top it off, two satellite shifters mounted beside the shifters on either side of the bar let you toggle between power assist modes without the need to take your hands off the bar - a must when negotiating rough terrain at pace.
All together, the Ananda system is light and discrete and provides 250w of power and up to 40Nm of toque through the rear hub motor. To get the best power delivery and ensure a natural, fluid feel to the motor's power assistance we've added a torque sensing BB which takes constant measurements of your torque input and adjusts the amount of boost provided. The 352Wh battery is big enough to allow you to explore without worrying about your battery life, while remaining light weight so not to bulk down your ride.
Shimano CUES provides the upgraded brakes and gears and the wide range 111-48T 10 speed cassette is both reliable and super long lasting. Up, down, and across rough off road terrain is where this bike belongs and the groupset is designed for just that.
Finally, as well as the groupset, we also upgraded the wheels and tyres to match our top of the range Granite 3. WTB have long been regarded for championing tubeless rims and tyres and we've equipped the Tanami 2 with a set of STi25 TCS wide gravel rims and 45mm WTB Riddler tan wall tyres, both suitable for tubeless setup.
All in, the Tanami 2 takes the spirit of our latest top of the range Granite 3 and adds the additional boost and power of an ebike so that no matter your fitness or ability, you can go out and explore the tracks less travelled with a smile on your face.
