The KADe Fold is the latest model in our KADe cargo line up. Featuring a low step alloy frame for easy access, small 20×3.0” tyres for extra comfort and adjustable saddle and handlebar stem to suit a wide range of riders. The KADe Fold fits into your life as easily as it does in your flat/house.

Powered by a 250W rear hub motor and 13Ah battery you will have enough range to fit in all your daily needs without worry.

Equipped with a large front cargo basket and built in alloy rear carrier, you will have enough space to carry groceries and other cargo meaning you can leave the car at home.

General eBike FAQ

Q. How far can I travel on a full charge?

The range you can expect depends on how hard the battery is working. This will be affected by factors like the weight of the rider, how much luggage you’re carrying, tyre pressure, hills/terrain, road condition, wind and the level of assistance or power setting you use. We will list the distance you can expect to ride under ideal conditions in the product details section of each Electric Bike. As a general guide though, the range varies from around 60km per full charge for our 10.4Ah battery hub motor eBikes, up to 100-120km+ for our 14Ah Ananda mid-mount eBikes. The dual-battery system on the KADe can even cover 150km+.

Q. How do I charge an Electric Bike and how long will it take?

Simply plug the charger into a standard wall socket at work or when you get home. To charge the battery from 0% to 80% will take 2 hours, 100% in 4 hours. Most of the time though you’ll just need to top up rather than completely refill. Charging times are similar for Bafang and Ananda systems.

Q. Can I ride an eBike in the rain?

Yes, all of these units are sealed and made for all-conditions riding.

Q. How can I safely handle and use a Li-ion Electric Bike battery?

Lithium Ion batteries are a powerful technology that have given us handy cordless tools and devices from mobile phones and laptops, to power drills, vacuum cleaners and now electric bikes.

Q. Is there a speed limit on ebikes? 

Depending on the region of purchase, the speed limits on our E-Bikes are 25km/h or 32km/h.
