Alice, tell us a little about yourself…
I have previously worked in marketing, social media and content creation for international extreme sports brands since I first started my university degree in 2018 in commercial photography. I have been brought up in a family that is crazy about two wheels. Most of my weekends were spent on MTB trails or at motocross and enduro events - with my camera in hand - watching family and friends racing.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with brands across kayaking, paddleboarding, climbing, skateboarding, motocross/enduro, surfing, and sailing. Being outdoors is where I feel most at home; even family holidays usually involve mountaineering, camping, or fishing.

How did you get involved with Reid?
My long-term career goal has always been to work in the bike industry, largely due to my upbringing and family background. I was also looking for an opportunity closer to home, which led me to Reid. The brand’s origins, growth, and ethos are truly inspiring, and I knew immediately it was a team I wanted to be part of.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Creativity is a huge part of my role, which is why I love what I do. I get to design something new every day and watch ideas come to life. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing something that started on a screen become a physical design you can hold in your hands.
What is an average day in the life of Alice Saville?
I’m a busy bee! But first, coffee! Once I’m at my desk, I check my to-do list and then dive straight into the creative process. It’s all about producing design after design, making things look great while ensuring they work efficiently and serve their purpose.

How do you like to unwind after work?
My brain never really stops! I’ll often head to the gym, go for a run, or take the dog for a walk. Running a household keeps me busy with constant “adulting” jobs, but when I can, I love catching up with family and friends over dinner. One tradition that never changes is Friday night at the pub for a gin! The weekend is where the adventures happen. I'm either on the water, by a muddy motocross track, or exploring on two feet or two wheels.
Finally, what advice would you give to non or novice cyclists out there?
There truly is a bike for everyone. Two wheels open up opportunities to explore places you’d never experience on foot or in a vehicle.
