In a world where sustainability and environmental impacts have become increasingly crucial to manage, here at Reid Bikes we have taken a remarkable step forward, reaching a new milestone of 300,000 trees planted in collaboration with the Eden Project.
In January 2020 this pledge was introduced to form part of our commitment to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, by taking an active battle against climate change and support reforestation efforts around the world. Trees play a critical role in absorbing carbon dioxide, releasing oxygen, and providing habitats for countless species of wildlife.
By contributing to reforestation, Reid is helping to restore ecosystems that have been damaged by deforestation and other human activities by offsetting any carbon Reid uses for our already sustainable products, by planting a tree.
Our collaboration with Eden Projects has helped to make this possible with their works to regenerate damaged landscapes, and educate people on environmental conservation, which is important now, more than ever. Both our brand missions and values align and with their concept of employ to plant, creating positive environmental benefits that help to rebuild ecosystems, this collaboration has, and still is generating major benefits all around the world.
As we celebrate this milestone, it is clear that the journey towards sustainability is ongoing. 300,000 trees is a massive milestone and we cannot wait to keep planting to carry on promoting an overall healthier planet, ensuring that future generations get to experience nature the same way we have and hopefully even better!
